The plumber, electrician, cleaner or barber you do not have.
Duam is a Nigerian app that sends a vetted artisan to your home. Plumbers, electricians, cleaners, barbers, AC and generator technicians. We verify every artisan before they are listed, we hold your money until the job is done, and the price is agreed before anyone sets off.
From a broken tap to a paid artisan
You say what is wrong
Pick the trade, describe the fault, drop your landmark. You see the price before you book, because every artisan sets their own and we show it up front. No haggling at your gate.
The people you need every week
Every artisan sets their own price and you see it before you book. No haggling at the door.
When something breaks
A verified artisan comes and diagnoses it, then quotes you inside the app before any work starts. You see the price and agree it before anything happens, so you are never surprised at the end.
Nobody gets your address, and nobody gets paid until you say so

You get your share to come out. Quote on site.
Enough to decide. Nothing to act on. No name, no phone number, no house number, so the job cannot be taken off the platform. The artisan accepts in the app, and the full address unlocks only once they set off.
Your money sits with us until you read these six digits out. The artisan cannot close the job or get paid without them. That is the whole arrangement, and it is why an artisan you have never met has a reason to do the work properly.
You are letting a stranger into your house
Everyone has a story about an artisan who took money and vanished, or did work that failed a week later. That is the actual problem. Not finding someone, trusting them.
